Ladies and Gentlemen!

I am sorry I haven't written in a while! As you probably know, things have been crazy on this side of the World! Wait! What am I talking about???? I haven't been in the same place for longer than 2 weeks in who knows how long!

To bring you up to speed, I spent much of the summer in Calgary, Canada filming a Lifetime movie called "The 12 Men of Christmas." You guys, I think it is going to be so cute! It's Christmas and there are cute boys and it airs on Lifetime on December 5th, so watch it!

After I got back from Canada, where I discovered my love for Strawberry, Banana and Orange Crystal Light, I played the part of "Georgia King" in a new Disney movie called "You Again" starring Kristen Bell and Jamie Lee Curtis. It was so much fun and I cannot wait for ya'll to see it next year.

Ok, now we're in September, and then IT happened. Well, it all started when we found out my beloved "Pushing Daisies" was nominated for FIVE Emmy's! We were all freaking out. THEN, it went and WON THREE out of the FOUR it was up for at the Creative Arts Emmy's. I was so excited for my friends Bob Blackman, Todd McIntosh, and Michael Wylie and their crews for winning best costumes, makeup and set design. But, with my best friend by my side on my way in to the Emmy's I knew I was the only one from our show up for an award that day. WOW. It was a SHOCK. I was in disbelief when I won and what an HONOR! I was truly having an out of body experience as I looked down and saw Drew Barrymore and Alec Baldwin grinning from ear to ear while I was giving a speech. I had WON an Emmy! I loved playing Olive so much, so many of you can understand how special it was to be recognized for a show that will live on in many of our hearts.

This is where I HAVE to thank you all. Your letters, "tweets" (we'll talk about that in a minute) and constant love and support means so much to me! I cannot tell you how much love I feel when I see that jumbo pile of letters on my assistant's desk. We look through them all and I want you to know that.

Lastly, I did it and I am on the Twitter. It started on the book tour, (which THANK YOU for buying my book and coming to my signings-----it was so fun meeting so many of you), but it has been so fun getting to "tweet" my little thoughts to you and hear about what shows you love and what we share in common. I'll try to answer more "tweets" very soon. I promise to write more on here soon... I've been under the weather, so for now I'm back to bed to try and rest away this cold I have had for so long (as you may know from my tweets!) I'm trying to get rest all while running around preparing for my concerts, "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" AND my return to Broadway in the Spring in "Promises, Promises." Your prayers, good vibes, well wishes and glitter is much appreciated!!!!!

So much love,

Kristin's Meet and Greet Online Answers

Good news, Glitterites! Kristin has emailed us the answers for the online questions she didn't have time for at the meetup. Check them out below!

--The GStaff

What do you order at Chili's?
I order the guiltless grilled chicken sandwich on a wheat bun. And chips and salsa and queso. And a coke.

If you could take your family anywhere in the world for a week where would you take them?
I'd love to take my entire family to Paris. The museums, the history , and of course The Paris Opera!

At what age did you decide to branch out from ballet and pursue jazz, tap, etc.?
I didn't branch out from ballet till college. I was a total bunhead till then.

If you are a mezzo soprano it is better to use soprano in auditions or mezzo that is easier to cast?
Always the best thing is to sing in the key-ish or "spirit" of the role you WANT!

What was the best thing about being in wicked?
During Wicked I knew we were creating something indelible, untouchable, and it was gonna be huge. But the people I worked with, especially the ensemble, that's who I really am thankful for. And I miss them!!

What insights did you gain from singing poetry instead of simply reading it silently on the page in written form?
In singing poetry, it feels like it's already music so why NOT sing it. We sing because we MUST. We can't speak anymore, so we sing!

Who wrote "boy" and does anyone else sing it?
A woman named Jodi Marr wrote that song and my friend and former Sony Classical exec gave it to me to give a listen. I knew right then, especially given the relationship I was just in that had ended, this song was for ME.

What is the celebrity secret to not getting deoderant on your clothes and getting those white marks?
Deodorant: there are NO tricks, trust me. I try to let it dry before gettin dressed. Just like everyone else!!!!! Hahahahaha

To my friends and fans:

Can you BELIEVE its been five years? Why, just yesterday I was 35. (Crap)
I have been so proud and excited of the work that's been done in the name of Glitter. You all have raised so much money and awareness for various charities. I couldn't be more honored to be associated with you. YOU make ME PROUD.

I look forward to what we can accomplish in the next 5 years! There is NO LIMIT.

To the westies, I love you. You made me feel welcome away from home. To the "easties," I love you too.

Take care. God Bless. Be Glittery.

to my fans:

Hi all.

As many of you know, I'm busily working on a tv show called PUSHING DAISIES. Please! Everyone listen!

Watch it!!!

Our viewership is a bit down from last season due to the writers strike. People need to know we are back on! Spread the word! Shout it from the moutaintops! Ok, I'm done with that now.

I also am getting excited about the Christmas Album that drops next week. I've always wanted to do a Christmas record, and at last I got my chance.

I have a fan and friend NANCY that I want to say hi to. She's been pretty sick as of late, and we are all praying for her. I love that sweet soul she has! And always a smile ready when anyone needs it. So nancy, we are smiling for YOU now and loving you and sending you light and love.

As for all the rest of my fans, I'm truly blessed to have the best. You all never cease to amaze me. Sometimes I go online to see your comments, and am honestly so touched how many of you have connected with each other, and continute to do great stuff for our different charities. Life is short! We have to do what we can, and all of you do JUST that!

The ladies that run my fanclub are also the best. Janice and Aly especially, always a pleasure and I thank you for your unconditional support and love.

Gotta go run do a scene. Love and hugs to you all.

Kristi

hello to all my fans!!!!

So....my big birthday. It was an amazing time because i get to go to work on this great show Pushing Daisies. my manager planned a birthday bash for my nearest and dearest in LA. It was so fun. But i literally walked off the set in my wig from work, so as to not keep people waiting!! haha

I want to thank you ALL for the amazing cards!!!! I went through each one with my assistant Marcy and we just laughed and cried(at my age)!

I definitely have the best fans in show biz. If there was a competition for best fans, i think mine would definitely beat out people like Britney Spears fans, or say, The X-Men fans.

You guys rock my world. You do such good, and then have time to make things for me, or send a sweet card. I want you to know it doesn't go un-appreciated. I have scrapbooks of all your stuff that one day my kids will get to look at and think, "Wow. Our mom had some people who liked her!" (Oh wait, I don't have kids....ok so Maddie will look through it.)
anyway. Thank you. VERY VERY much.

Much love to you all...
